Creative Minister

Creative Minister boasts a perfect in-the-money record of 4-2-1-1 for trainer Kenneth McPeek, who captured the 2002 Belmont Stakes with 70-1 upset winner Sarava.

By Creative Cause, the Kentucky-bred colt graduated at second asking in the slop in April at Keeneland and followed with an optional-claiming score in May at Churchill Downs on the Kentucky Derby undercard. Creative Minister enters from an even third-place effort in the Grade 1 Preakness on May 21 at Pimlico Race Course, finishing 3 1/2-lengths back of the victorious Early Voting.

Jockey Brian Hernandez, Jr., who captured the 2012 Breeders’ Cup Classic with Fort Larned, has been aboard Creative Minister for all four starts and will look for his first win in a Triple Crown race.
